You don't need to use the shells with this snail plate. Made of porcelain, this escargot dish has six depressions to hold as many snails and their garlic butter sauce. A lip around the edge holds the extra sauce into which it is proper and tasty to dip your baguette. Because it's porcelain, it can go into the oven and under the broiler.
The porcelain snail plate is available in either 5-1/2" or 6-1/2" diameters. The larger plate is footed.
