Cook bacon more uniformly in your fry pan with our cast iron bacon press. Weighing about 1-1/2 lbs., the press is cleverly designed in the form of a porker. A wooden handle is attached. The press measures 8-1/2" in overall length and 5-1/2" in width.
Prior to use the press must be seasoned. Do this by washing in warm, soapy water, drying, and coating lightly with vegetable oil. Place in your fry pan for 20 minutes on a very low heat. Voila!!...your bacon press is now seasoned. Also works well for grilled sandwiches and hamburgers.
