This utility knife is a winner among "everything" knives. It features the "elite" edge - an expression of strength and thinning tolerance - developed by Messermeister. The high carbon no-stain tool steel from which the blade is crafted enables it to hold an edge longer between sharpenings. The knife is fully forged with the blade extending through the molded handle. The 6" blade is cambered for precise rocking and features kullenschliffs, or "hollow edges" that are designed to reduce the amount of blade surface that comes in contact with the item being cut. This reduces tearing of food by preventing it from sticking to the blade.
