"Bacchus" Corkscrew
This double-spindle, precision-machined corkscrew was patented in 1842 by Edwin Cotterill. Made in Germany by Monopol, the steel screw is hardened, ground and finely polished to a satin finish, and easily penetrates any cork. The double spindle engineering allows the cork to be both uncorked and released with a simple twist. The Bacchus is artfully crafted to withstand a lifetime or more of wine openings.
