The wood in this server began life as a tree in the Great Northwoods about 400 years ago. A casualty of the legendary 19th century log drive, it broke loose and sank to the bottom of one of the North American Great Lakes. Time and ice- cold water prevented decay. Over time, the wood was transformed to the remarkable colors and unique grain pattern found in this server. Available in oak, no two pieces are the same.
The serving board measures 12" x 12" x 3/4". It is not to be used as a cutting board. To clean, wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. This one-of-a-kind board is a beautiful addition to your buffet table.
