Tip: Before placing the chocolate in the fondue pot, it should be melted in the top of a double boiler over simmering water - never over direct heat. Or, microwave chocolate, uncovered, on medium heat, stirring frequently. If chocolate clumps together, stir in unsalted butter or vegetable oil, one tsp. at a time, until chocolate becomes smooth again. Note that adding butter or oil may slightly change taste/texture of chocolate.
