From the San Moritz Collection, this beautiful carving set, crafted by Messermeister of Solingen, Germany, includes a 6" carving fork and 8" carving knife. Both pieces are fully forged and crafted of non-staining carbon steel and a host of other metals that provide for wear resistance, better edge holding, and strength without being brittle. The carving knife has a narrow spear pointed fine edge blade with hollows (Kullens) ground into each side, great for eliminating surface tension as you slice. As with all Messermeister cutlery that we carry, the La Belle Cuisine logo is etched on the blade, which is our seal of approval.

The Carving Set is dishwasher safe, but we caution that the knife's metal composition will be impaired and its edge could become knicked in the dishwasher. So, please, wash each piece by hand.
